The shootings were oddly similar, right down to the copy of Catcher in the Rye found on both shooters. Probably both brainwashed in the same World Vision camp.

They didn't want John Lennon stirring up any protests in the 80's. 

Or maybe it was just the Bush Family Evil Empire firing the first shot in the War on Drugs.

I have no idea why they think some aging rock star with a shrew of a wife would have any real influence beyond that which he had when he was alive. Besides, he was just as hypocritical as every other leftist. When you sing about having no possessions and live in a posh New York apartment and the money to buy just about anything you want the whole thing rings kind of hollow.

They've either watched way too many documentaries about how J. Edgar Hoover & the FBI were tracking Lennon or the DUmmies have been taking voluminous amounts of psychedelic drugs.  Probably a combination of the two.

I wonder how many of them know Lennon's views on handicapped people, as they praise him for his service to the cause of "peace"? All "peace" meant to Lennon was a platform for his self-serving attention-seeking.
