Sorry I'm a week late with the contest but better late than never. It's...

The DU Bumper Sticker Slogan Contest (December 2009 Edition)

Remember when they had that T-shirt contest, and Gman2 distinguished himself with the most non-sensical, lamest, un-funny Tshirt slogans?  Well, he's back and making less sense than ever:

I saw one on the back window of a pickup on I-70 last week that read:

"I'll keep my freedom, my guns, and my faith.
You can keep the CHANGE"

Honestly they should go with:

"Democraticunderground.com -  The Reality-Based Community"

It would make them feel good, it is square with their beliefs, and it would be an extremely powerful recruiting tool for Conservatives every time somebody actually goes to the site to check it out.

Times

Quote
WHEN 35 Greenpeace protesters stormed the International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) yesterday they had planned the operation in great detail.
What they were not prepared for was the post-prandial aggression of oil traders who kicked and punched them back on to the pavement.

“We bit off more than we could chew. They were just Cockney barrow boy spivs. Total thugs,” one protester said, rubbing his bruised skull. “I’ve never seen anyone less amenable to listening to our point of view.”

Another said: “I took on a Texan Swat team at Esso last year and they were angels compared with this lot.” Behind him, on the balcony of the pub opposite the IPE, a bleary-eyed trader, pint in hand, yelled: “Sod off, Swampy.”

Quote
Mr Beresford said: “They followed the guys into the lobby and kept kicking and punching them there. They literally kicked them on to the pavement.”

Last night Greenpeace said two protesters were in hospital, one with a suspected broken jaw, the other with concussion.

It should be more like:

"Jobs on the Rise?  No?  Democrats Must Be In Charge."

Liberalism Is The Philosophy Of The Stupid

The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years.  The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

During the campaign, after Obama's famous socialist speach to Joe the Plumber, I wanted to make up bumper stickers and windshield banners that read: I ***AM*** Joe!

Wish I had done it.

The leader so far: "Peace On Earth: Bring Them Home"

That seems like a slap at Lord Zero to me.  Surely the admins will be taking a hand in the voting to make sure that doesn't win.

Have You Accepted The Free Market As Your Personal Savior?
That's one of the choices.  It has me puzzled.  If an average person is driving down the street, and sees that on a car, what's he supposed to think?  What's the takeaway?

Peace on Earth is still winning.  It's really quite Christmas-y, which surprises me about them.  I say bring them home, too, if all lord zero is going to do is treat them like photo-ops.  Or targets, for that matter.
