BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (FOX 9) - A man was arrested for throwing tomatoes at Sarah Palin during her book signing on Monday at the Mall of America.
 
The man allegedly threw two tomatoes from the second balcony, however did not come close to hitting Palin.
 
Bloomington Police report that a Bloomington commander was struck in the face with one of the tomatoes and may face charges for assaulting a police officer. The suspect was booked at the Bloomington jail.
 
More than 1,000 people turned out at the Mall of America Rotunda on Monday for Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue" book signing.
 
Palin started signing books at noon for those brave enough to wait in a long line that started around 5 a.m.

I hope they nail his ass on the "assaulting a police officer" charge.  Also, I'm kind of surprised that some moonbat hasn't done this before now.

Two things...

1 - welcome to MN. Where the libs are violent and anways get off with a slap on the wrist
2 - News reported "100" people at the mall. They always do that around here. Reporting "hundreds" at the Tax Cut Ralley when there was over 8K in attendence, and then giving more time to the 20 people who were protesting foreclosures earlier in the day.

I just heard this on Hannity...Also, Hannity said a man waited 3 hours at his book-signing event a while back, only to throw the book at him, 2 feet away, but missed... :lmao:

As I could not have been sure - in the heat of things - that the orbs flying toward my face weren't in fact rocks/grenades/sharp things, I'd have probably capped his ass as I was ducking. But that's just me, with my poor fire control and decision making skills becoming apparent.  :evillaugh:

He got a couple months in jail but only spent a portion of his sentence and was released.
