Most liberal TV show (cable or network)

What do you think is the most liberal TV show out there? You don't have to choose just one but list them from "most liberal to less liberal".  Round it out with the most conservative TV show.

If I had to pick one liberal show, I would pick "Weeds" from Showtime.  I really don't have one for conservative.

6 Feet Under is over now but that show was really liberal.  Not a single one of them had any values at all.

While it's not what I think you are thinking of as a "show", if you want to see moonbattery on parade watch FSTV. It's usually in the lower channels, think RFD TV, and it's crazy shite.

Pretty much the entire "Law and Order" franchise as most liberal.  30 Rock isn't far behind.

There is no such thing as conservative television.  Maybe 24 or the Bill Engvall show, but that's about it.

It is at times, primarily because Dick Wolf  (the producer) is a big lib and Obama supporter, and because it is primarily set in New York, which, realistically, is very liberal......however, we watch it and find it entertaining......

For conservative shows, I would list NCIS, and JAG, both of which are Bellisarius productions, and he is very conservative, and a great friend of the military.

I seem to recall Designing Women as being pretty darn liberal.  Even tho I liked it. 

Conservative?  Punky Brewster.  She met Nancy Reagan, and did a whole thing on "Just Say No."

Liberal TV is pretty easy -- just grab a handful of anything from the networks' primetime schedule . . . Conservative shows?  South Park can come close when they make fun of liberal causes but they're libertarian and make fun of everyone, usually pretty well.  Also, there was a mini-series on Showtime in 2005 and 2006 (2 seasons) called Sleeper Cell that was really well done -- I wish they'd put together another season but I don't think that's going to happen . . .

I've seen Supernatural listed as a conservative Christian, show, but I'm not sure I agree.

I think most tv shows with a few exceptions that air on FOX (like 24) are liberal.  Yesterday, I was up late and caught part of the "girls next door"  Hugh Heffners new twin girlfriends had on Obama t-shirts.... :whatever:

I sometimes catch the very end of that show, because we watch the Chelsea Lately show. She's liberal, but the show is funny.

The Fox show "24" was pretty good until last season, when it went full moonbat. I about had a stroke watching Jack Bauer do a PSA on global warming.
It was an unbelievable and sad turnaround, like discovering Tiger Woods to be a serial adulterer and liar.

Daily Show...hands down most Liberal.  I don't find Stewart funny at all.


L&O has gotten worse...since Waterston has taken over as DA...worse even than when Diane Weist was the DA.

When Chris Noth...Angie Harmon and to some extent Jerry Orbach were still on the show there was an attempt at some Conservative views.  But now that Fred Thompson is gone...the last vestiges of that show being "neutral" towards political agendas is gone.

Which probably also explains why their ratings are in a free fall.


From what I've eatched of it...Smallville comes off to me as a Conservative show.

Michael Moriarty was a helluva good ADA (Ben Stone) during the first few seasons.  He's also a conservative IRL.

I can't really speak for the current season, as I've not seen but a couple of episodes, but in the past there have been storylines with conservative overtones.......such as the episode where Watterson took on the gun industry (and lost), or the SVU episode where Ice-T was asked "what is your deepest secret"(sic), and he repiled "I'm a Republican"........

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the show is set in New York, a very liberal place, therefore it would not be realistic for it to depict storylines with conservative outcomes, as anyone that has been exposed to NYC, would consider them unlikely........I think that it fairly accurately reflects NY's justice system, which is rife with political correctness, and ambivalent towards offenders.......
