Content wise, it was a rehash of the same lies about wars we have heard from previous Presidents.

Since his words, and more importantly his policies, have consequences, I gave him an F in this poll.

Obama lied people died.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

DU is an absolute riot now ! Their OBot programming is causing them to malfunction as they seem to not have paradox absorbing crumple zones.

1. Support Obama at any cost.
2. Oppose war at any cost.
3. Goto 1

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Uh oh.....stop the presses...I agree with a dummie....

I too thought there was an awful lot of "me, I, me, I, me....." and a whole lot of poofing up himself.

Of course 0Bama had to talk about himself, that's how he campaigns.  I'm just surprised that a DUmmie was willing to give voice to that thought.

Not a whole lot of enthusiasm from all those young Republicans! What was he thinking?

21. I was absolutely floored
At least five cadets sleeping? The President of the United States! Commander in Chief! Sleeping?! I hope they get their bags smoked! I even saw a Colonel going nighty night. Never saw anything remotely similiar. You'd think they just finished a three day patrol, unbelievable

22. I posted elsewhere that some of them looked bored -- I didn't realize some
were feigning sleep.

Contrast those faces to those full of excitement and hope on the people to whom he usually speaks.
I just don't know what to think.

I've never seen anything remotely close to that display. You make a great point, and then of course there is military bearing, discipline, respect. I'm absolutely dismayed. West Point, the supposed cream of the crop. I was part of a Battalion formation listening to Colin Powell in the 1990's. Ninety percent of the formation was finishing up a three day Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise. Half of those had been up for 36+ hours conducting Joint Airdrop Equipment Inspections and pulling malfunction duties on several of the Fort Bragg drop zones. I didn't see a person nod. I'm dismayed.

I condensed it to:

Bush's fault but before that it was the USA's fault I will fix it all, thank god for the USA as I am now president.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

He left out a line, "Because of me, this time next year some of you will be dead."

I wouldn't be to excited to see the grime reaper either.

That is because they respected Colin Powell. What I saw looked like they didn't really want to be there. There was no hooting, and cheering like they always did for Bush. Despite what you dump monkeys say a vast majority of military folks respected and liked Bush when he was the boss.

Cause Bush actually respected the service to country. This guy, not so much. I'd lay odds he never even refers to his military staff as "sir" when speaking to generals. The guy has zero class when it comes to the section of our populace that defends it.
I'm the guy your mother warned you about!
