Police respond to raucous caucus

Austin police responded to a minor disturbance at Travis County precinct 343 shortly after 8 p.m., according a supervisor with police department communications.

Yes, it's true. At my precinct it was heavy Obama turnout. Luckily it doesn't all hinge on Travis County. Go Hillary!!!!

I think it's obvious that white folks in Texas got pulled by the racist tactics of HRC. Shame on Hillary for trying to paint Sen. Obama as Muslim. I can't believe some fools actually believe that nonsense.

Funny, at our caucus it was Hilary Diane Clinton supporters that were starting the trouble. I guess they were so frustrated to learn in our precinct it was 4 to 1 Obama vs Hilary...
Remember we are all Democrats, don't start breaking apart already..

Leave it to a "Bill Cunningham type R" to be as negative as possible. My guess is, if it was like my precinct, there were ten times the anticipated caucus goers and not enough room.

Seems the Dems are back, regardless of who wins on the "D" side. I kept hearing there were a number of "Rs" with us tonight who are very disgusted with the current direction GW has taken the country.

How many weeks have you been itching to figure out how to work "raucous caucus" into a headline?

(Course you stole it from Berkeley Breathed's unsurpassed comic "Bloom County" - the strip having it's beginnings on the UT Campus).

But good go, nonetheless.

I took a stab at the location of bildo in the OH and TX dem primary thread.  I think I have a workable theory.

Well, somehow I gathered the raucus HAD to be within the Democrat caucuses by the title alone.
