Harmonium Brass
« on: November 24, 2009, 04:38:48 PM »
The name of my new brass quintet.

Harmonium Brass

It's just a one-page site for the moment, but we'll put more stuff in it in the days/weeks to come.

We've already got two pay gigs lined up and with the way the phone and the newspapers are calling asking for more info, we could have even more very soon.   :evillaugh:
Adams E2 Euphonium, built in 2017
Boosey & Co. Imperial Euphonium, built in 1941
Edwards B454 bass trombone, built 2012

We made today's local newspaper. I can't post the article at the moment, though, because the firewall won't let me get to Photobucket.   :banghead:

Harmonium Brass performed a benefit concert this past July.

Here's a YouTube of some of it - just snippets of the whole thing.

Yup!

It went over like, well, a Rubber Duck!

I can't wait to see it tonight.  No speakers here, so I doubt I would get the full effect.

There was only one camera, so it was sorta amateurish (which it was). And you don't hear each piece all the way through - only snippets. So it isn't going to set the YouTube world on fire at all - but we had fun and it was for a good cause.

I programmed "Rubber Duckie" for our Jan. 22 concert as well - hopefully a different crowd. But I gotta schtick in mind that's gonna blow the doors off the place in hilarity..... :evillaugh:

I know how you Doggies are. Safety is paramount, so, yes, some damned water wings. We can't have you drowning, can we??

Thank God. I thought I was going to have to mail you a dong of some type and a porno book.

We Doggies appreciate some of the finer things in life - like rubber duckies. When was the last time you heard a song about airedales?

Anyway, enough of the interservice rivalry. Let's put this back where it belongs - music.

BTW, how's that trombone playing coming these days? Or did you trade it in at a pawn shop for a blowup Doll named Orifice?
