THANK YOU to everyone who donated during our fund drive! Here's how much we gave to charity...   
   

 
Thank you to everyone who donated during the DU 4th Quarter Fund Drive last week, and to all of our monthly subscribers. We are pleased to report that we brought in the funds we need to keep the site running for another three months. And, as promised, we have given 10% of the funds donated to charity.

As usually happens during our fund drives, the amount donated varied from day-to-day during the week, with the busiest days occurring at the beginning and end of the week. In order to make up for the lower donations mid-week, we decided to do an alternative minimum donation of $250 for those charities that would have otherwise received less. We just finished donating to the six selected charities. Below is a list of how much we gave to each charity.

I like the idea of the "minimum donation" for each. 

Looks like that letter from the "Wing-Nut" really made a difference for the Planned Parenthood, huh?

Isn't this the place that brags of 20,000 members?  They all managed to donate a total of less than $2000??  I am SO impressed.    Just more proof that liberals only "donate" Uncle Sam's money.  


The only good thing about it is that PPOA can't kill many kids with less than $500.

If I remember correctly , Skinner was donating 10% of the funds raised to the charities, so the bulk of the scammed money goes to Skinner for operation of the site.

Okay, so my fellow alum Skins raised circa $18,550, give or take a few cents, in this fund-drive, total.

One suspects's he's going to have to schedule another one really soon, as that isn't nearly as good as Skins has done in the past.

I did notice this time around there were lots and lots of PoP who did NOT donate, and so I'm going to keep reminding them, until they open their wallets.

I know it's a minority opinion, but I don't think my fellow alum Skins squeezes the primitives nearly hard enough, given all the problems they cause him.

That's pretty self-centered of you.  Everyone knows that you should have given that money and the money equivalent to the government to spend as they all knowingly and wisely know how to do.

This is very interesting, in fact it is something I do not recall Skinner having done before, as we can now make an assumption on his fund drives.   If he is telling the truth, his fund drives bring in less than $18,550.  Judging by the fact that he had three days where he donated the alternative minumum of $250 it can be assumed to be significantly less.

Very interesting.  FR's go on longer but it is clear how much they are trying to raise.

In about six weeks I'm headed off for my annual New Year's vacation.

You probably remember how that goes; that I spend New Year's Eve under the roof of a poor man, because according to Yiddish folklore, God promised that someone who does that, prospers in the coming year.

Done it for years; every New Year's Eve.

I've been checking the directories for all the Upper Great Plains states; the city missions and soup kitchens, trying to find one sponsored by atheists.

I'm not finding any.

But I plan to keep looking.

I'm sure it's standard procedure for the DUmmies who have taxable income to claim deductions for the full amount of their DUmp donations, and then some. It doesn't qualify for a deduction, but remember these are DUmmies. Most only file to get the EIC, but you can bet the ones who have income file some very fine works of fiction. They are DUmmies. They lie, all the time.

I'll bet Chief S itting Bull, the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive, has outdone William Faulkner or Willa Cather, in his income tax forms.

And one must not forget the malicious cartoon character primitive, the "Kelvin Mace" primitive, who when he was active on Skins's island, railed mightily against "corporate personhood" at the same time he was taking advantage of tax deductions for corporate business expenses.
