Chris Matthews Shocker: Obama Making 'Carteresque' Mistakes
« on: November 23, 2009, 02:29:49 PM »
Quote
Chris Matthews appears to have lost that loving feeling for Barack Obama.

On "The Chris Matthews Show" Sunday, the once smitten MSNBCer called some of Obama's recent mistakes "Carteresque":

In the Carter presidency, the optics were not exactly robust, and Ronald Reagan rode that to a big victory in 1980. Is the Obama White House sending some Carteresque signals these days?

These "signals" included bowing to the Emperor of Japan, getting nothing on his trip to China, and deciding to try terrorists in New York City. ...
I guess the tingle up his leg has disappeared.

Lots of interesting parralells to Carter with 0bama.  The guy who comes out of no where talking one way and doing another, the fuzzy campaign, promises broken before the end of the inaugural parade...

But the real interesting comparison is how the press loved Carter in January 1977, and how much they loathed him by January  1980.   The press treated Reagan as a sick joke in 1976, but all the way through the 1980, they almost became civil.

I think the press is seeing the bloom go off the rose with 0bama on a personal basis every day.  They don't like being made to look like idiots any more than anyone else.

The silver lining in this dark cloud of the Obama presidency is that he will be a One-Termer.

Obuma is just a puppet.  He should not be compared to that Jimmy Carter person.  Carter was a real flesh & blood guy.  Obuma is just a paper mache head sewn on a suit.

He's the executor though.  Remember, he was schooled by people like Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright...he launched his public life from Ayer's living room.  He sat in Wright's pew for decades.  He is indoctrinated by these people.  Yes, he's there puppet...but he's a believer in their cause...the Hate America preacher and the domestic terrorist.

Carter ran as an outsider of the Beltway because it came at the heals of the Watergate Scandal and people were sick and tired of it.

At least Carter served in the Navy and held many jobs, unlike Obama.

Has anyone noticed how Zero has begun to drop hints that his will be a one time 4 year administration.?

We will find out for sure after ThanksGiving on his war plans.

He like Carter is an idealist, wants to save the world and is ignoring the stark reality of how the game is played.

All that bowing and scraping to other leaders of the world may in his belief show respect for them and their position ----but---- he fails to understand that these leaders have no respect for anyone that does not demand respect from THEM.

It may be tradition that the leaders subjects greet their leader with a bow to show the leader he is the grand Poop-Ah and better then them, but for any man or woman that is American to show by bow or curtsy to any other foreigner is absurd and humiliating to OUR culture.

I am reminded of Macales Navy sit com and the blithering Ensign who was his side kick.
Obama acts just like him.

For crying out loud, turn the war over to the military experts and expect results, let them fight it out in the war rooms.

Turn the problem of illigal imergration over to those in charge of watching our borders and expect results, this means every town that rounds up illigals for tresspassing be allowed to incarcarate them or deport them.   So what if they have kids that were born here, they can take them when they go or find a place for them to live here----their problem not ours.

I want a president that when they walk into a UN meeting, the room gets to their feet and bows to HIM.

Carter ran as an outsider of the Beltway because it came at the heals of the Watergate Scandal and people were sick and tired of it.

And O'DUmbass ran on Hope & Change after 6+ solid years of MSM whining and bitching about the previous administration. People were sick and tired of hearing it and ****ed up again.
