Study says sun getting hotterStudy says sun getting hotter. WASHINGTON (AP) - The sun is getting hotter, adding heat to an Earth already thought to be warming from greenhouse gases. ...

The AP article points out that the Sun got hotter during the period of time between the late 1980s and the early 1990s. That the Sun got hotter in the period of time between the late 1980s and the early 1990s is perfectly consistent with the NASA solar irradiance graph...

Yes, the Sun got hotter... for a 10 year period. Then it got cooler.

FuturePundit: Sun Energy Output At Over 1000 Year PeakThe Sun is getting hotter(NASA article). Another Nasa article shows climate changes(hotter) throughout the Solar System. Randall Parker said at July 20, ...

I really wish you would read and select articles instead of just doing an info dump of what Google searches turn up.

According to the Future Pundit article...

“The change in solar brightness over the past 20 years is not enough to cause the observed changes in our climate. But the indirect effects may be larger, and the range of their influence is unclear, so more study is needed,” he added.

Okay?

The National Geographic article does not contain any information pertaining to solar irradiance. This is why I don't like info dumps. In order to refute your post, I have to read a bunch of stuff which has nothing to do with the topic. Lucky, the stuff so far is at least pretty interesting.  :-)

ACRIM vs PMOD - Is the sun getting hotter? Thus, it is evident that with ACRIM the sun would have contributed to the global warming during the last decades. (Source: Shining More Light on the Solar ...

The article on Skeptical Science confirms what I have been saying...

The ACRIM data shows a slight increase in TSI - the PMOD data shows practically no trend at all. Regardless of which dataset you use, the trend is so slight, solar variations can only have contributed a fraction of the current global warming.

You just got zinged by your own info dump... another good reason why info dumps are a bad idea.

Actually the suns output can change and effect climate.

No one is arguing that the Sun's output can't change or that changes in solar output can't affect climate.

Here ya go TNO, since you're obviously unwilling to do any real digging of your own here's a nice little collection for ya.  All you have to do is click and read.

So how does it feel to know that someone's kid in the heart of america has blood on their hands to defend your rights so you can maintain a lifestyle that insults his family's existence?

Kid, you are out of ammo and yet you fight on. I have to respect your tenacity in embracing pseudoscience in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. I hereby dub thee:

Feel free to take a shot at providing overwhelming evidence, or even just some evidence, that a change in solar output is fueling global warming. Perhaps you will succeed where others have so far failed.

Since info dumping is all the rage here, I might as well try my hand at it.

A list of what Freedumb2003 would describe as pseudoscientific institutions and organizations which have taken the position that global warming is happening and is probably the result of human activities...
