Schade we could always have a Vegas meet up next year...motel rooms are cheap in the spring....you can stay downtown on Freemont street for about $30 and they are very nice rooms. You could bring a kid or two.

I'll be using 2 free nights at the 4 Queens in Dec. additional nights are only $22....for some reason they like me. I always write letters about the great service, it's a wonderful place. A girl is flying in from Davenport, IA she thinks we should get married.  :banghead:

I might be going out there in the spring too. My half sister lives there and in Akron....her new husband is a casino host at the Bellagio. She'll be back out there after the holidays until late spring...

Moving to Las Vegas would do one or both of two things.....make her geographically desireable and or/complicate your life.

Exactly.

I could easily transer to a Las Vegas location, in fact would have more advancement opportunties. But then I would live about an hour away from my mom who often needs my help.

Vegas has 13-14% unemployment right now,I know someone that's been trying for almost a year to get hired out there and so far things are not looking up thanks to ObaMao.

My town is even worse, about 20%.  My job search took me 20 minutes. I get lucky like that.

Las Vegas just got a bonus, the new City Center is now opening. They hired over 12,000 full time people.
