Heading to the Glenn Beck event on Saturday at the Villages

Anyone else planning on going?  Likely to be many thousands of people there.

Hi,

We have tickets for the Beck/O'Reilly event in Tampa, really looking foreward to it.  We were in Kansas City for the show and have watched the video.  There are several close ups of my wife and I so it was a hoot to say the least.

I am soooo jealous....

I would love to see what Beck has to say. I think he said it would be telecast....

I heard last night that they have added another show to Tampa, and one of the others was sold out within hours of announcing the tour.

Closest one to me is Charleston, but I think it's sold out too...

Where do you guys find the dates and times they will be in your area?  I would love to go to a Palin book signing tour...but don't know if South Florida is one of her stops...

You should be able to go to her web site and the dates are there. Book title is "Going Rogue". One or the other should have the dates.

Their "tour" is kind of a misnomer, if you ask me. FOUR events in FOUR states?? Did they forget the rest of the country ??? I checked to see if they might be coming to Texas or Oklahoma. Nada. Only the four events.

One of them said yesterday, depending on how it goes, they will be adding more dates.....

I will be going.  Is there anything I need to know?  Where exactly do I go?  I will not be getting my book signed. I just want to attend the rally.  What time do you think I need to get there?  I know with one of the book signings he did in NJ in October, you had to get there really early and get a wrist band.  They were only giving out a certain number of wrist bands and if you didn't get one, you didn't get to have your book signed.  Do you think the rally will be the same?

Hi,

Here is what I know.  He is supposed to be signing books at the Barnes and Noble bookstore and then go to the rally.  The address for Barnes and Noble is 1055 Old Camp Road, The Villages, FL 32162.  According to the web site the event is from 3-7 PM. 

We have something going on Saturday AM and hope to get there by 2:00.  My guess is it will be packed, bring a lawn chair and make sure you have sun screen.  I have not gone to a biggie like I suspect this one will be but I can tell you this.  I have attended three tea parties and a town hall meeting with over 800 people.  You want to talk about getting energized......these things will do it.  My guess is Beck will have the crowed fired up like you wouldn't believe.

If you see a fat guy with a Cubs hat please say hello.....
