How long can you go without a meal?

There's a rule of thumb that says you can go three minutes without air, three days without water, and three weeks without food before you die.

So, Mr. President, how long are the unemployed supposed to wait before they get some help. The air is there. The water is there. But the food is the problem.

You've helped Wall Street. You've helped the banks. You've helped those who really don't need that much help.

When are you going to help those who are doing anything and everything possible to avoid week three for their families?

I assume many of the primitives could last somewhat longer than three weeks.

2. Pass meal mandate. Force main provider of family to feed their progeny at least once a day.

Failure to comply will result in jail time. Perfect solution.

And then in very short order, the bonfire degenerates into a discussion of marshall law and other silly stuff.

One suspects the primitives are mocking Oscar Wilde.

Food is a necessity of life, and is too important to be left to the for-profit corporations. So we should have a government-run food industry. The last time the government developed food, they came up with MREs. No one chews on them while messin' with sasquatch.
