The Unspoken Christian Problem in the United States

Why does the main stream media continue to ignore the Christian problem here in the United States?

According to the FBI, an estimated 1,382,012 violent crimes occurred nationwide in 2008, and the 99% of those crimes were committed by Christians . In fact, Christians in the United States murdered over 14,000 Americans last year. Christians also committed close to 10,000,000 property crimes against Americans last year.

One of Christianity's major sub-sects, Catholics, are responsible for the majority of illegal immigration from Mexico into this country. Christian bankers on Wall Street have wrecked the economy. Last spring, a Christian terrorist drove around Dallas randomly shooting people on the Freeways. Why is political correctness preventing the media from saying what we all know is true? That Christians in America pose a grave danger and that you and your family are likely to be victims of Christian criminals sometime in your life.

While many claim that Christianity is a religion of peace, hundreds of wars in the past 2,000 years have been started by Christians. And while gunpowder may have been discovered by the Chinese, just about every weapon of modern civilization has been developed by Christian scientists and engineers. There can be no doubt that Christians are responsible for just about everything that's wrong in America.

I say, send them all back where they came from.

Yeah just last week a bunch of Methodists strapped on bombs and went to the mall. 
90% or so of American citizens call themselves some form of Christian or another. So odds are good that some of them will commit crimes. But, I have yet to see a large movement of Christians going around and killing heathens. It may have happened in the past Spanish Inquisition etc but, today's Christians are in general peaceful people. To even try to compare Christians to Islam is incredibly stupid.

 we tend to think with our brains and not our emotions. When logic enters the picture irrational violence takes a back seat.

14. But look at the history of christianity in the US - Killing the "heathen" indians,
 killing "witches", in colonial times to killing abortion providers and running the RW political psychopaths in congress (The family) today, killing gays, spreading hate, encouraging murder...and not paying taxes on all that property.

Great influence, christians - go back top Europe where you came from.

Look moron no one is denying that some people have perverted the scriptures and did horrible things. But the Koran clearly states to terrorize and kill non believers and a large section of Muslims in the world follow that to the letter. There is no comparison to what Christians of today are doing to what Extreme Muslims are doing.

There is one major difference that they miss...Christians that attend Christian worship services (real Christian services, not the liberal ones that skip the Bible) are taught to love their enemies and pray for them.  On the other hand, Muslims are taught that dying with anyone you consider an enemy gives you immediate access to Heaven. 

If we were like them...there would be no abortion clinics...we'd have car-bombed every one.

...the fallacy in the OP is: if 99% of Americans claim to be Christian ergo 99% of crimes in America are committed by Christians. This is known as a categoical error or the error of the undistributied middle, i.e. a horse is an animal therefore all animals are horses.

Assuming--strictly for the sake of argument--that the people in prison were attending weekly services, reading their Bibles, praying several times a day...

...none of them were murdering in the name of Christ. They may have murdered over jealously after being spurned by a lover or to conceal a crime or to facilitate another crime but they were NOT jumping up on desks screaming, "Jesus is LORD!" before busting off a hundred rounds.

My Pastor says to love my enemies. But I can't. After all the death I've seen, I wan't only one thing. Revenge. I may go to Hell for that. But I'll take some of them with me if my request is OK'd to go In Country.

In my experience as a prosecutor, all the 'Sincere and deep Christian beliefs' only seemed to come on the criminals AFTER they had committed their crimes and while sitting in the ol' Iron Bar Inn.

To add to Mrs. Smith's excellent reply, think this about your enemies--you're preventing them from going out and committing acts abhorant to God (murder, rape, etc.), while professing to be serving God.  By rendering them "combat ineffective," you're actually helping their eternal souls (IMO only).

Good muslims are those through whose chests one can see daylight. The best muslims are the ones who've been reduced to small fragments that can be fed to hogs. Their eternal souls can then be placed at the tender mercy of the hogs' digestive systems.

Actually, I'm a very forgiving person. I have no enemies in my life. But some things can't be forgiven. When someone attacks the Homeland I snap. Maybe I'm a bit unbalanced when it comes to that. Attack the Military?Attack my Flag? I lose it. The only good thing about hate is that it can can keep you going. But  I get your drift. Hate can also burn you out and make your heart dead.
