I can't really criticize him for this Criticize his policies, yes that I will do. But this shooter must be responsible for his own actions, and no amount of mental anguish will justify what he did. Thousands of troops come home every year from this war with mental anguish, but don't shoot up their fellow citizens as a coping mechanism.

Why couldn't he have been visiting on Thursday? I mean it's tragic that the shooting happened at all, but at least then something positive could have come out of it.

They should grab him and make him complete his military service. There's a war out there with his name on it.

Quite a group you got there, $kins. Quite the CF.
I wish there were pictures, you know those "Photo Op" ones, to show that his visit brought them a little comfort after their ordeal.

President Obama has always been respectful of those in the Military I would have been surprised had he elected not to go.

W and I-Killed-A-Guy were there last night The fundie whackjobs are using it as proof that the W's are "classy" and Obama hates the military:http://rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=115700Thank God for a true man like George Bush. What does it really say about our current CIC when a former president is the only one to show up?**********Yes! Thank God for George Bush to have compassion Obama does not have!!**********Yep! Bush has the kind of class that the liberals don't understand.**********Hurray for Bush! A true American not like that phony we have in office. Can you imagine the moral of our soldiers when there commander in chief wont even visit after a tragedy like this? How conveniently they seem to forget that W has nothing else to do.
There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site
Little Tykes pot meet a f'n GIGANTIC witch's kettle. Good God, do these idiots ever think before they post?
I miss W...a lot.
Obama comfort the soldiers??Please he is almost ready to give Nasan a medal for his "compassion fatigue", the most insulting thing ever.
Well, didn't he just give a Congressional Medal of Honor to some civilian injun?
I wonder if they realize the Secret Service takes threats against ex Presidents just as seriously as they do against the guy in office now?
