I will never give away my weapons but I will give all of my ammo away at 800-2500 FPS to all that want it.

And in every shooting the anti gun crowd tries to use that as ammo (Ironic choice of words  :-)) to kill the second amendment.
The fact of the matter is since the gun has been invented and mass produced the cat is long out of the bag. No legislation will prevent those who don't follow laws any way from getting a gun. Even if we somehow could get every gun in existence and melt them down criminals will still have guns one way or another.

There are two amendments to the constitution that are very dangerous to the left. The first and the second. The first allows us not to have to sit down and shut up even if Lord O tells us too. The second allows us to own and maintain firearms in order to protect ourselves. Of these 2 rights protected (not granted) by our constitution the first is a million times more dangerous than the second. We will use our power of free speech long before a weapon is picked up. The founders in their wisdom granted us that right of speech, assembly, and expression so we can change things peacefully and if that fails they left us the right to protect ourselves with weapons. The intent was for the govt people to fear us, not us fearing them. That is why for so long they have chipped away at these rights. If they take our free speech and our weapons away we will be powerless.

I agree the second is very important but I believe the first is more dangerous to the left. Odds are the left will never have a gun pulled on them by a right winger but, they will have their beliefs challenged by right wingers.

While that may be true, the Second prevents the Left from denying the use of the First to us at a time like this.

Therefore, IMHO, the Second is the most important Amendment.
