The "final solution" to American gun ownership.

Okay, here's my suggestion. Let's give every American man, woman and child a Uzi.

My guess is that by the next day, our population will be about half of what it currently is due to road rage alone.

The day after that, it will again be cut in half and so on until there are only a handful of survivors. At that point there will no longer be a gun ownership problem in this country.

Ridiculous? You bet. Would it work? Probably.

not quite every household, but a hell of a lot them - fully automatic rifles, and ammo, at govt. expense

noted that switzerland has VERY low crime rates, violent and otherwise.

also much lower rates than the UK, the USA, etc.

not saying their guns are a CAUSE of the low crime rate, but saying the converse argument is specious

I think those who made the Uzi might find it less amusing than I do though.

Personally, I'd love an Uzi. But a PPsH would be better, since 9mm has gotten so expensive as of late.

Well, you KNOW it has to be a SMG.  You KNOW how many crimes are committed by those who are allowed to own these vile, evil weapons.  I mean isn't there a crime committed with a fully auto weapon on a regular basis??  I see it reported in the 'Main Stream Media' all the time and they MUST know what they are talking about.  You can't put it on the Tee Vee unless it's true right.

If gun ownership became universal, the day after there would be a lot of DUmmies with holes in their heads.  Some accidental, I'm sure.  But quite a few would probably see it as an effective alternative to whatever the latest and greatest anti-depression medication is.
