Obama's half brother speaks out on abusive father

GUANGZHOU, China – President Barack Obama's half brother has broken his media silence to discuss his new novel — the semi-autobiographical story of an abusive parent patterned on their late father, the mostly absent figure Obama wrote about in his own memoir.

In his first interview, Mark Ndesandjo told The Associated Press that he wrote "Nairobi to Shenzhen" in part to raise awareness of domestic violence.

"My father beat my mother and my father beat me, and you don't do that," said Ndesandjo, whose mother, Ruth Nidesand, was Barack Obama Sr.'s third wife. "It's something which I think affected me for a long time, and it's something that I've just recently come to terms with."

Don't some of the DUmmies blame their mental illnesses on abuse they suffered as children?  Some people claim that abusive parents rarely change. I wonder if 0Bama was abused by his father before he abandoned the family?   :fuelfire:

This would go far in explaining why Obama's mama ran like hell from Hawaii to Washington state just after baby Barry was born. If Papa 'Bama wasn't in the mood to be a papa he just might get violent.

THIS half brother of The Øbamessiah?  The one who makes about a dollar a month out of some ramshackle hut in the slums of Nairobi?  When did he get the time to write a "semi-autobiographical novel", leaving aside the little matter of the typewriter/ laptop, electrical power to his ramshackle hut, and the little matter of a publisher for his "semi-autobiographical novel"?   

$12 a year doesn't allow much consideration of such luxuries.  Things like surviving through the next tomorrow tend to take priority.
