Down here, appointments for MRIs seem to be plentiful. I've had no problems scheduling and rescheduling my MRIs. I was even taken in early yesterday by almost 1/2 an hour. I already have a CD copy of the MRIs to take to the neurologist on Monday. I made a couple of back up copies, too  ;)  I've looked at the images and have seen where some problem areas might be. I'm sure the Neurologist will confirm my suspicions.
