Reverend Wright Praises Marxism

RUSH: The Reverend Jeremiah Wright. On September 17th of this year he was in New York City, the 60th anniversary celebration of Monthly Review magazine, a big -- I mean this thing is far, far, far left magazine, Monthly Review.  Now, remember, this was Reverend Obama... Ah, ah! President Obama's reverend for 20 years.  And in those 20 years, President Obama never heard a word Reverend Wright said.  Not a word.  Jeremiah Wright was the featured speaker at the 60th anniversary celebration of this liberal magazine.  Here's a portion of his remarks.
 
WRIGHT:  From the victims of neocolonialism, to the victims of the chameleon nature of racism and from the Cold War in the days of its infancy to the needless wars of Vietnam in its second decade through wars of greed in Afghanistan and Iraq in its sixth decade; this magazine unflinchingly has tackled the tough issues, from McCarthyism to militarism, from the Chinese revolution to the Ghanan revolution, to the Cuban revolution, from the lies told by United States presidents to the lies told the by the United States media.

RUSH:  I think Obama heard every word Reverend Wright said in those sermons.  I think Reverend Wright is President Obama.  Did you hear that, Mr. Matthews? Ahem. I'll say take a little louder: Reverend Wright IS President Obama! And now he thanks these people for their socialist and Marxist perspective.

WRIGHT:  Thank you for -- for fulfilling the invaluable purpose that you had in mind to offer a forum for commentary and analysis from a specifically socialist perspective.  You dispel all the negative images we have been programmed to conjure up with just the mention of that word "socialism" or "Marxism."  You have championed the interests of those who are the victims of Martin Luther King's famous menage a trois:  Militarism, capitalism, and racism.

RUSH:  Reverend Wright IS President Obama.  President Obama IS Reverend Wright.  I'm sorry.  You don't hang around people like this for 20 years and not be influenced by them.  You don't hang around the people he hung around and not be influenced by them.  President Obama IS Reverend Wright.  And it didn't stop there.


WRIGHT:  Walmartization of the world proceeds from the premise of profit.  Is it oppression masquerading as democracy and globalization? Is it militarism dressed up in a costume calling itself "peace," making the world safe for capitalism, the profit of a few -- or making the world livable for all the level playing field for all?  My work with liberation theology, with Latin-American theologians with the Black Theology Project and the Cuban Council of Churches taught me 30 years ago the importance of Marx and the Marxist analysis of the social realities of the vulnerable and the oppressed who were trying desperately to break free of the political economies undergirded by this country that were choking them and cutting off any hope of a possible future where all of the people would benefit

Or from the marxists he admits claims he hung around at Columbia University (nobody who can prove they were there, can remember him being there too, so jury's still out), of the marxist who mentored him through adolescence, or from the marxist Bill Ayers being his next door neighbor, or...

BTW, Bill Ayres wrote Barack's "Dreams..." autobiography, so who knows what is fact or fiction. Barack can't write his way out of a paperbag.

So.......Wright is a marxist...you cannot be a Christian AND a marxist. It is one or the other. Personally, I have never thought that Wright's "Church" was Christian, even if that's what they called it.

Follow the money Peter, Love, Tolerance Patriotism,  brings in the nickle dimes for the small churches.

Down on your luck, no money no booze no smokes, head for a small church and you will be told that God love the sinners also. You leave with no money, no booze drugs or smokes.

Head out to one of these rock and roll big time money churches and Bingo.    You are told that you are not a sinner it is not your fault that you live in the gutter. You are the loved by God not those who put you down.  You must fight to take back the dignity they stole from you.  They find a place for you to sleep and perhaps some of the other stuff you need

Before you know it this person has been indoctrinated into the Church of Hate.

The Rev. Wright cannot make money to own a million dollar home, pay body guards and own 22 limos. if he speaks the true word of Christianity.

If he were to stand before this flock and tell them that God helps those that help themselves, to get off their lazy butt and go home and raise their kids,  woman raise only as many children as THEY can afford to support working a job, God gave you free will don't blame others if you mess up.--------Next week only he and the janitor will show up.

He has to trade on people that need an excuse for failure or have low esteem.

Get them angry, nothing is their fault, tell them how they are used as when the Methodone clinic moved 5 miles away and now you must walk all that way to get what you consider is due to you.

Keep it going, stir the pot, when services let out all congregants will head off with self estems as they know what ever they may do, it is not their fault.  Others have deliberately caused them to give in to their base instincts.

I would love to see Rev. wright actually live under a Maxism -----Hey, Hey, where,s my fleet of cars, whose that living in my mansion, wheres my bank account, What do you mean I am just a Preacher and have never paid taxes or done a days work.?

Kind of like an episode on the Twilight  Zone.

Absolutely....They envision themselves as living like the top 1% of the communist.....the heads of the party, not the dead useful fools piled out back
