Flex spending accounts face hit in health overhaul

AP article.

It seems that congress has another tax increase in store for those that use Flexible Spending plans for medical reimbursement.  They want to cap it at $2500. I couldn't find anything about other section 125 things like child care, but they'll probably get around to that , also.

Ouch, that will hurt a lot of people who use them to their full advantage.  I've even personally set aside more than that amount in the past, for LASIK eye surgery.

that's the smallest of the issues, IMHO... and I think it's a big issue. The rest are just that much bigger.
