Wow I'm such a lightweight. By the time y'all were fading I'd already been asleep for hours and was waking up for the middle-of-the-night pee. 
So SAD, not one child decked out as a Pirate or Cinderilla at my door tonight.
Chalk this up to the creepy crawlies out there.
All these years of tradition down the tubes, all the fun we had as kids now gone forever.
The few or is that more then a few have now invaded our lives, they have rights and because of them we and our children have lost ours.
This really makes me angry. We cannot watch our children dressed up with delight run from door to door after dark and take part of their family's and the community's tradition now because of the few perverts that may live in the neighborhood.
No more feeling the kids are safe in the neighborhood, day or night.
Can't even take a child to church today without watching out for their safety.
How did we come to the point that we allow a few individuals to terrorise a neighborhood.?
They have the right to live most anywhere they please but then expect family's with children to move if they don't like having a molester next door.
Getting really pissed at this point. Getting too old to understand what is happening when the LAW gives rights to bad people that cause everyone else to keep themselves holed up in their homes to protect their family .?
Where is the right to scare a comunity into changing their life style in fear of 2-3 people.?
And the Libs are the first to complain if a molester moves in next door and harms their children.
We had a perfect example of this in the comunity we lived in 1990 at one time.
Family from out of state had a 70 year old relative that because of his " Problems with children" could not find a place for him to live.
They after search moved him into our comunity to a small apartment-----Kids everywhere.
One day a 4 year old girl went missing, her bike was found in his yard. He refused to allow the police to enter his apartment and called a lawyer and his family.
Big problem here, he was not registered in this state as a sex offender----But a town cop put his carear on the line and barged in, found the child tied up with duck tape on his bed.
In this case the Cop could have been fired for any number of civil rights violations, luckily he was given a award for his Gut Instincts.
Why do we as parents and grandparents put up with this crap, have we no rights that supersede those monsters ?
