1. Lieberman is a Senator

So his district is the entire state of Connecticut and I suspect he may retire rather than try for re-election. I don't think he's up for re-election until 2012 anyway.

2. We have to get rid of him before before then. He will do great damage until he is removed.

I'm amused by the Anti-Lieberman sentiment over his openly announced strike against a public option-  if included -

I believe he also said that he would back a filibuster if the PO is included.  :fuelfire:

I sent money to the former democrat and senior senator and it is paying off now.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

The lerking fish primitive posts at the anti-Jew hate site PI, so his message of wanting to rid the Senate of Lieberman runs deeper than just the public option thing.

There's two basic industries in Connecticut--guns (Winchester made the M94 and other levers there for a while, and Mossberg's primary plant is five miles north of that spot), and insurance.  If the health "reform" goes through, said unemployed are going to remember which political party got them that way, and Dems will become an endangered species in Connecticut.

Oh, yes, Saint.  I lived in CT for 10 years.  Hartford will become like Detroit, with Bridgeport becoming even worse than that.

Suck it, DUmmies.  I voted for Lieberman, as the GOP I believe was running a RINO of the worst ilk.  Truly hideous.   I'm glad my vote is giving them heartache.   :bird:

Hmmm?  What's that you're saying?  Their impotent rage is so pathetic.  Like when they think withholding their meager coins from advertisers will take down the mighty Fox.

Do they have the recall in CT? If not, the DUmmy only has one other option... and I'm not even going to mention it.  :o

I tried to look into that, but there was a whole buncha legalize and maybe-maybe nots to it.  Also dated info.  Joe is quite beloved in the state of CT, and I doubt this would take off.  What Google did show me was that there were 4 different threads created on DU about this, with 5-9 respondents each thread.  BFD.  Like I said, suck it, DUmmies.
