Obamacare To Signifcantly Worsen Doctor Shortage
« on: October 27, 2009, 10:14:07 AM »
Even if Obamacare never passes in congress, this nation will be confronted with a 40,000 primary care physician shortage by 2020.  With 78 million aging baby boomers already lining up for medicare, SSA disability, etc putting a massive strain on our health system, Obamacare will finish off what is left of the best healthcare system in the world by simply overloading it.

Massachusettes' version of Obamacare has already been forced to cut 30,000 people from their health program due to overlaoding.

I highly doubt that many doctors went into the field of medicine for strictly altruistic reasons.  It's a long hard road to an M.D., and they should be compensated for that.

With the compensation factor removed by the Feds, why bother?
Help keep America beautiful...deface a liberal.

The Democrat and Republican parties are simply the left and right wings of the same bird of prey.

The road to freedom is paved with dead liberals.

True...one of the major reasons why thousands of canadian physicians fled their single payer system to come here to practice medicine was pure economics.
