I've been wanting to cut my hair short for many years...but don't have the guts to do it.  I admire women who wear their hair short....maybe one day, I'll have the "balls" to actually do it.

send me pics, I'll help you decide. :)

yes, no, yes.

This question comes up every few months....do y'all have memory loss?

Yes, I might have some memory loss.  Too much beer will do that. :cheersmate:

I was having a conversation with a friend about it Monday night, which prompted the post.

I don't have any tats at this time, but if I ever get one it will be one of my avatar.

I have pierced ears but everytime I wear earrings, my husband always wants to borrow them for fishing lures! :-)

As for anything else, I've been subject to the gravitational pull of this planet for 40+ years -- ain't nuthin' taut enough on this body to look good with pictures on it!!

Don't care for them, especially on women.  Tats on a guy don't bother me, but are not exactly what I'd call classy either, except maybe military or naval ones if not overdone.  Piercings just identify the stupid for culling.

Pretty much agree.  I've got a tattoo of the AF symbol on my right shoulder, and thats the only defacement my body will ever recieve.

I have 3 tats and plan to get more someday. I have 5 holes on each ear and had both my tongue and my nose pierced. The nose got infected and had to go :( and my job made me take out my post in my tongue. One day the little ball fell out and that was it.

I've often considered getting a tattoo, but I never did. While many Sailors DO get tattoos, I've never really found anything I'd want on my body permanently. During a rough time in my life, I did get my left ear pierced and wore an earring for a while ( maybe a year). The Navy came out with a directive that earrings were not allowed, either on duty or off. Once that directive came out, I quit wearing it. The hole's closed some 24 years later. I don't miss it. Tats on a man don't bother me much unless they are too blatant and cover a lot of area. My nephew, who's in the 10th Mtn. has tattoos all over his torso and arms. While he thinks they are artwork, I think that they're too overdone. I think he'll have problems once he gets out of the Army (if he hasn't already). Tats on women simply make them look "cheap". Pierced ears are OK, to some extent. Those, too, can be overdone.
