Tattoos, Belly Rings, piercings.....
« on: October 27, 2009, 01:03:41 AM »
Where do y'all stand on these things?

Personally, I'm not a big fan of any.  I don't dislike them per se, they can be attractive on the right person.

I agree.

Down here in the south, tats are everywhere, and since alot of women wear shorts and tank tops year round, you can always see them.  Some of them are pretty gross. Belly rings are ok, as long as the chick is not too fat and it vanishes when she sits down.  :puke:

I have seen one or two tattoos that look nice on women, one was a very attractive lady and her back looked like a work of art, it was a high quality tat....I could of spent all day looking at it.

No.

If God had wanted people to have tattoos and body piercings, he would've created us that way.

Is there anything more ugly than a 77 year old woman with sagging tits and a nipple ring?

I don't mind tattoos on guys, but I tend not to be a huge fan of them on women.  I'm obviously prejudiced against women  :evillaugh:

I'm not a fan of piercing anywhere but on the ears of women.

Guess I'm just a prude and old fashioned.

Don't care for them, especially on women.  Tats on a guy don't bother me, but are not exactly what I'd call classy either, except maybe military or naval ones if not overdone.  Piercings just identify the stupid for culling.

Tattoo with meaning that is well done? Like 'em.
Tattoo to keep up with the Jones' that has no meaning? Don't like 'em.

Belly buttom pearcing on a nice tummy? Like 'em.
Belly button pearcing on a not-nice tummy? Uh... no thanks

Other piercings - very small nose piercing on a perfect nose on a beautiful woman? Dig it.
99.9999% of other piercings on 99.9999% of other wimmen-type-folks... don't dig 'em.

I've had a tattoo design sitting in my desk drawer for ~ 10 years. Hate needles.

Small tattoos on women that aren't always seen, okay. Attention grabbing tattoos should be left for rockstars and athletes. Belly button rings on some girls look nice, piercings on guys, not so much.

Don't care for tats...especially women with tramp stamps.  :puke:

Pierced ear lobes are okay on women.  Never figured out why men do that unless they're  :gay: and just trying to look FABULOUS.

Despise the eyebrow and nose rings.  Ewwwwww. ...and a chunk of steel in a person's tongue?  :puke: again.

I have one on the top of my arm...very close to my shoulder..pretty small...it doesn't change except it's faded just a little in the almost 20 years I've had it. Fortunately that part of the body stays relatively taut because of it's location so I'm not worried about sagging or anything else. I'm not into piercings(except on my ears). I thought briefly of getting a very small nose piercing when I was younger, but decided I didn't like the idea of going through unnecessary pain..lol. I think the lip and tongue piercings are the grossest things ever. It seems every girl I see them on has mouth sores too and it's like...ewww...who pierced that sh*t?

I don't mind sleeves and all that. I think some people can pull them off and in the appropriate professions that don't mind them, that's not a concern. I've seen some really lovely works of art on people. it's not for me that much coverage, but I have seen some tasteful things. And then I've seen your mid-30's mother of 4 with pink hair, various non-related and assundry small tats everywhere, and piercings of the same variety---When I see it I can't help but think if there is any other way she can distinguish herself...she's trying to hard. I think it depends how good/crappy and selective in style/placement the owner is as to what I think about several tattoos like that. Some look like the gals are trying to hard to be a certain something when those parts are out of whack or maybe it is the wrong girls are doing it and can't pull it off...not sure.

Just depends I suppose.

I don't care if someone wants to look like a freak to avoid working. I think the tripped face-first-into-a-tackle box look is sad though.

Earrings?

Earrings on women are acceptable, unless they're big enough to play basketball with them.

Agreed...I fear those gigantic hoops too...too much to catch things on. My own hair gets caught in modest earrings at times being that it is long. I can't imagine!

Piercings?  Weeell,  :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:  Let's just say that . . . panties cover the ones I like the best.  But, the woman has to look attractive to me.

Tattoos on a woman are over the line, IMO.

I've had one hole in each ear since I was 17 and don't wear any other earrings but diamond studs. I have short really short hair and don't like having to remember to change the earrings. On rare occasions when really dressed up, I may wear something else.

My daughter has 2 holes in each ear, but has let one grow shut so she only wears one earring in each ear. She had a belly button ring until she got pregnant, and though it gave me the quesies...it looked really good, but she had a concave tummy. She doesn't have any tattoos.

My son didn't have any tattoos when he went in the Navy. He had each ear pierced, his tongue and one nipple (oh ouch, I didn't know about that one!). He came out of the Navy with 5 tattoos, no nipple ring or tongue stud, but wears small hoops in each ear. All of his tattoos are covered by clothes (short sleeve shirts) per Navy regs...
He's 28 and very straight....

I've been wanting to cut my hair short for many years...but don't have the guts to do it.  I admire women who wear their hair short....maybe one day, I'll have the "balls" to actually do it.
