Sunbelt Ag Expo
« on: October 21, 2009, 08:00:41 PM »
I went to the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie today. I haven't been in about 25 or so years. It seemed like a liberal free zone. Friendly people. No America bashing.

I did see the biggest Brahma bull and the biggest Hereford bull that I'd ever seen. They were both eating so I suppose if I had hung around one of them would have eventually produced a potential liberal.

I never knew that there were so many different tractor manufacturers. I saw makes that I'd never head of before. They also had a Mahindra pickup on display. Has any one had any experience with Mahindra?

It's Greek to me.

I'm glad you had a good experience.

Too bad you missed the birth of a liberal.

That's good, sir, although I deleted "potential" from your quote.

Agricultural shows are great, even if one doesn't know excresence about agriculture.

That sounds fun.

I went to a Rodeo once. I think I was in 6th grade.

The deal is, to go into something with an utterly open mind.

I have no fondness, no fondness at all, for Asian art, but one of the best times I had in a social setting was when attending a big show of Asian artwork.  I didn't get a thing out of the art, to which I'm indifferent, but watching others interact was better than a show on television.
