I wonder if a similar fate awaits that girl who converted to Christianity that is being forced to return to her family.

I'm kind of shocked that Rifqa Bary's lawyer didn't attempt to have her emancipated. She's 17, after all. I was on my own at 17. This legal maneuver would have allowed her to keep away from her parents and may have eliminated a potential threat.
