WASHINGTON, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Andrew Breitbart's Big Government will hold a press conference featuring James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles, the two daring young journalists who, posing as a "pimp" and "prostitute," exposed massive corruption within ACORN's offices throughout the country. The Press Conference will be held at the National Press Club of Washington, DC on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. After suing Breitbart.com, Mr. O'Keefe and Ms. Giles in Maryland over the release of the Baltimore tapes, ACORN has issued public statements denying any wrongdoing in its Philadelphia office and lying about what happened there. Mr. O'Keefe and Ms. Giles are now prepared to respond. According to Mr. Breitbart, "ACORN representatives claim James and Hannah were kicked out of Philadelphia. They also said publicly that unlike Baltimore, Washington D.C., Brooklyn, San Bernardino and San Diego, James and Hannah never even mentioned prostitution before they were told to leave. James and Hannah will be joining me to set the record straight. After Wednesday, everyone will know what really happened in Philly." Reps Steve King (R-IA) and Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI), leaders in the congressional fight to defund ACORN will be also be in attendance to offer brief remarks.

The two independent filmmakers who posed as a pimp and a prostitute and received advice from ACORN employees in five cities on how to skirt tax and immigration laws claim the community organizer group lied when it said the pair were shown the door without receiving assistance from staffers in its Philadelphia office."At no point were we kicked out and at no point were we asked to leave," O'Keefe told reporters at the National Press Club in Washington. "Why did the Philadelphia press report were we kicked out?"Breitbart said more videos connected to the undercover probe may be released at an unspecified date. "There are more," he said.
Because Acorn has sued the filmmakers, they said they had to keep the sound turned down to avoid further legal repercussions. But after the tape was shown, Andrew Breitbart, who first aired the videos on at BigGovernment.com, challenged Acorn to allow him to play the audio of all of the tapes that haven't yet been released.Ian Phillips, legislative director for Pennsylvania Acorn, dodged the request, charging that the Philadelphia video had been manipulated and adding, "It's not on us to say, 'Release the audio.'"
I LOVE how Breitbart is letting this come out a little at a time. I was afraid that this would lose steam so quickly. It's a genius job of letting ACORN hang itself with its own statements.Genius.
I think that the reason for this is that all of the legislative action to defund ACORN is all for the current fiscal year.......what no one is talking about is that as of November first......ACORN is back on the government tit....so to speak, unless further action is taken to defund them again......doc
