1502 pages and 72 hours till the vote. Senators must read 20 pages and hour without sleep to understand this Frankenstein bill. Remember the graft and corruption of the Stimulus bill that no one was able to read before the vote? This will be just as bad.

40 percent tax on good health care plans. If your plan offers more than bare bones coverage you WILL be punished.

Stay tuned gang. Patriots please update this with new atrocities as they are discovered.

There are now reports of several blue states being exempted from higher medicare premiums in the bill, I guess they think we're stupid.

SO much for all those phantom "savings"

The senate is using sleight of hand to show a lower cost of this BS, than what it really entails.

Are any red states exempted this way?  There's your smoking gun for punishing political opponents right there...

A vote for this, is a vote for socialism.

I knew the bastards wanted to tax my health benefits from the start, and fine me if I elect not to take them........which screws me either way.

It would be another tax for the middle class, which of course Obama promised never to do!

  • Still looking for my pony.....
I'm sorry, but they are going to ram (or Rahm) this down our throats one way or another. Where the hell is the opposition?? I'm so pissed.....
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Oh what fun to live under a government that passes laws they themselves know nothing about. No one has read the law, just pass it to make Fearless Leader get the heck off our back.

Good show, ignorance of the law is no excuse-----Pass a law no one in government has any idea about or the people of the country have never had a chance to see and  then pick and choose those that violate the law.

Caligula is some where giving high fives to Vladamir for the stuff they did in their own time, it never dies----allways a Resurrection.

The tax is designed to pay for reform and lower costs by making the so-called Cadillac plans less attractive for insurers to offer. Under the bill, a plan that costs an individual more than $8,000 and a family more than $21,000 annually would be subject to the tax.

Ok lemme get this straight by increasing what some people pay by 40% will lower costs?

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

I thought their intent was to improve health care by get employers to offer plans that cover less health related treatments.

Say your state goes behind closed doors to vote on something that will impact your state.

The state tells their citizens that they have little idea of what they are voting on but every citizen must follow the law no one knows about, not the State, the police, not their own grandpa.

Put this into perspective, your kid is sent home from school for violating a school policy. You call the principal but he has no idea what policy your child violated but the school board has told him your child is at fault. they have no idea what your child did.

You call the school board and they tell you they have no idea what is going on except they got a call from the Feds telling them your child did wrong. They also have no idea what your child did.

You call the Feds to find they were acting on orders of someone they do not know high up in the government.

This is America today,??????

Ignorance of the law is no excuse, laws may be passed in secrite behind closed doors, laws that make you a felon, Good Morning Russia how you doing ??

Sen Leahy was asked by CNSnews which part of the Constitution gives Congress the authority to mandate that people buy insurance. He could not answer the question, he didn't understand it. Finally he said "Nobody questions our authority".

Well, I'm nobody. There are millions of me out there.

Did you see the part where the taxes kick in at the end of this year, but no benefits until 2013? That's how the communists want to make it "revenue neutral".
