Cincy v S. Fla pretty good game

#8 verses #21

The local (very local) Bearcats are having a heck of a season. Best team in Ohio?? (well, maybe not lol)

"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

Who does Cincy have left on the schedule?  I'm assuming they'll lose at least once...enabling my Frogs to move on up past them, as long as we keep winning of course.  At BYU may be our toughest test next week.

They finish the season with West Virginia, Illinois and @Pittsburgh. Could lose any of those I guess. they should still be undefeated till then.

On edit: The sooner QB Pike gets healthy the better natch.

I wouldn't worry much about the Illini.  At Pitt may be tough.

So with South Florida losing, we have 8 undefeated teams, correct?

Florida
Alabama
Texas
Boise State
Cincinnati
TCU
Iowa
Kansas

It shall be interesting to see how the rest of the season shakes out...

I worry about the Illini from the standpoint that it's a big school (no pun intended) that might have a "save the season v a ranked team" attitude. Still, if the Bearcat's are to deserve the rank, they really do have to win out with their small school/Big East schedule.

I agree with Oklahoma v Texas and USC v ND coming, things are only going to get more interesting. Not to mention...

I mentioned to you earlier in the season I thought they were better than Ohio St. and, given both teams are healthy and on their game, I still believe they are.

Yeah, I've mulled that over since you mentioned it. Part of me didn't want to agree with you but but there was really no good case against the idea. Now I think you just flat out nailed it. tOSU is just not a great team with their sub-par RB's and their sub-suck QB. (pretty darn good everywhere else though, fwiw) I hope they get to play eachother on a more regular basis and soon. I've liked what the Buckeye's have done schedule-wise putting home/away games in there with Texas and USC. I think Miami (Fla) or Tennessee are comming soon. Still, Cicinnati would be a much better in State game than the usual (Toledo/Akron) suspects.
