The Bush administration was the biggest threat to world peace in decades, and McCain would just have been more of the same.

The simple fact is that the world is a much, much safer place today because Obama is president instead of Bush. Thus, a strong case can be made that no other individual in the past year further advanced the cause of peace than Barack Obama.

DUmp is boring today. They are wetting themselves over this.

The Bush administration was the biggest threat to world peace in decades, and McCain would just have been more of the same.

The simple fact is that the world is a much, much safer place today because Obama is president instead of Bush. Thus, a strong case can be made that no other individual in the past year further advanced the cause of peace than Barack Obama.

Let's see, Israel is about ready to attack Iran, the war in Afghanistan looks to be falling apart, North Korea is openly flaunting any agreement it makes, Russia is on the move, Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltics are rightfully nervous, and Pakistan looks like it could topple in a gentle breeze.

Closer to peace?  I'll have whatever he's smoking.

Okay but here's what I don't understand...if Bush was such a threat to whirled peas wouldn't one think he'd take the opportunity during the time he was president to make said threat a reality? And if the US, as the DUmmies seem to believe no better or worse than any other nation on the planet, why the hell should they rest of the world give a rip about which party in our 2 party system is in charge at any given moment? Besides, the nobel peas prize has become nothing more than a political homage to the person/nation who does the best job of bashing the US. However, on the bright side, his presidency seems to be imitating Jimmah, only on steroids...unless he finds a way to cheat (and with Acorn under fire that will be more difficult next time around) he'll follow him into one term moonbat obscurity too.

I'm trying to figure out what the hell Obama "ended".  The American people voted him into office.  He didn't take it.

OK, big logic hole in the OP's idea. Obama did not end the Bush administration. The Bush administration came to a natural, constitutional end. Two terms and all that. Also, Obama did not declare himself president, the people who voted for him did. So by the the OP's logic, the NPP should go to either the Founding Fathers, or the American people as a whole.
