Sort of sheepishly told me she is going on her first "Sort of but maybe not really" date tomorrow.  :bawl:

Meh. Intimidate the young man when he comes to get your daughter. It'll make you feel better.
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

Know what you mean.  I joke around when I don't get "carded", and my son laughs when I do.   :-)

How's this for awkward:  My 16 yr old daughter's "friend" (She won't call him boyfriend cause he hasn't asked) is staying with us this weekend.  Never in a million years would I have ever though something like that would happen, but he lives 5+ hours away.  Strict rules and guidlenes have already been set.  And she's been lectured every day since we agreed to this madness about appropriate behavior.

Actually, that's Mr Flame's job...lol.   I get grumpy when I don't get enough sleep!   I'll probably have my sick 9 yr old sharing my room, since the guest will be in his room.  Mr Flame will probably crash on the couch!

They are meeting at the Subway or the Library.

I guess I COULD be cleaning it then but there would probably be a lot of screaming and yelling when I pulled it out. :-)
