Why did they support knocking over Saddam, who also could not stand to share power with them and actually hunted them down?

Or, are wingers so stupid that they thought, "they are all the same over there"?

Didn't even occur to or matter to the PNACers that Saddam was a SECULAR tyrant.

2. beats me. Why is Bush making waves about Syria, too?

Assad hates Islamic fundamentalists as much as anyone, yet Bush seems to have a hard-on for getting rid of him. He also pissed off Turkey, which is as pro-secular as a government can get in a Muslim society. Yet he cozies up to the Saudis, who are so crazy fundamentalist, they're regarded as a nutty abomination even by other fundamentalists.

Maybe deep inside, Republicans don't really care which religion you are, as long as you're a crazy fundamentalist bigot. That seems to be the message they're sending to me.

The simple fact (that is why it alludes DUmmies) is that evil despots will do whatever is expedient to further their own cause.

Take a lesson DUmmies on Jan 20 2009 there will be a new President sworn into office, there will be no martial law, suspension of elections, killing of opposition....you know, all those things you rail on and on about.

See evil where and for what it is,makes life a whole lot easier to understand.

NO...wrong again little DUmmie. That would be Pisslosi and her group that were trying to drive a wedge between Turkey and the US. Condi Rice and the President shut her little operation down.....REMEMBER?
