We had a couple weeks of 'hot' weather this year.  Most of the summer, we never broke 90°.  My kind of summer. :cheersmate:

I'm with you, Chris...I love our temps this summer. However....I'm pretty much over the never-ending rain.

I don't think its ever going to stop.  I remember about 15 years ago (maybe 1994), it did nothing but rain all spring.  It was a mess.

Feel free to send some of it west.

We've had some pretty cool weather here, with lows in the 40's.  Quite a difference from the 100 degree weather we had last weekend.

I just remember we had really bad winters in 93 and 94 after wet spring/summers....makes me wonder what this winter will be like. Our last 4 or 5 have been very very mild....we've had it even easier than you...

I forgot about '93.  We had a huge ice storm that hit us and covered everything in ice.  It was nasty.

I'll trade you some high 90's for some rain.  No snow or ice, please, don't miss than one little bit.

Yeah...by the time it got here, the temps started nosediving and we ended up with a couple of feet of snow!!!! Actually, I think it was about 23 inches.

lost power on Saturday morning at 5am...and didn't get it back until midday on Wednesday. It was so cold in my house, all I had to throw out was milk and the ice cream.

I thought the kids would never go back to school...they were out about 2 weeks or so, and the school district had to appeal to the state to approve of a shortened school year.

The next year, the school district decided that kids would go to school on Saturdays to make up snow days.

We get a half inch of snow and school is cancelled. If the snow sticks and accumulates....the schools stay closed until all county roads are clear.

I lived in IL, SD and Iowa as a kid.....I only remember school closing for snow 2 times when I was a kid.

2004 election, the suburbs voted 60% conservative. It was the metro are that skewed the state. Two stinkholes of MN, Minneapolis and St. Paul.
