poll: what brought you to conservativecave?
« on: October 06, 2009, 05:01:45 PM »
Yesterday (Monday) was the biggest day, ever, for conservativecave, which has been around since late December 2007.  Today won't be quite so big, but when compared with only a couple of months ago, big.

What brought you here?

This is for marketing research, no sinister motives.

An invite from Jty (please no one hate her now) after only being at CU for a couple of months.
Had a bit of a disagreement with some things at Free Republic so was looking for another site and paused briefly at CU.

On edit I see another choice added to the poll regarding personal referral which would be more accurate.

Can't quite remember who PMed me at CU--it might have been Kev--but I was wondering where the Coach had gone.  I came here, and poof!  There he was!

I was a poster on CC's sister site: US MilNet.  While I am a Navy brat, there was an awful lot there that I restricted myself from posting on while I was there, because I had never earned the BTDT cred required to interject between two honorable servicemen with differing opinions.

I have no such restrictions here.

I keep coming up with us as #5.

For some reason, republicanoperative now has two ahead of us; they only minutes ago had one ahead of us.

I joined military.com when my son went to Navy boot camp and moved to usmilnet.com very soon after it started. I'm a mod there for the PTSD forum.

Kevin and Rob (Thor) told me to come over here, which I did.....then they had to tell me to stop lurking and join in.

I follow directions well......
