I agree I was just reading on the BBC website that Tracy Emin, a famous British artist, is threatening to move to France if Britain raises the tax on the wealthy people here. She certainly can afford the tax hike but doesn't want to pay it. What would happen if people started to move to tax havens instead of paying more taxes?

There also a lot of rich people who started with very little and busted their asses to get somewhere. There also a lot of rich people who contribute their time and money to help the less fortunate. I had to borrow money to go to school and I worked while I was in school to make extra cash. I paid the loans back and worked very hard to get somewhere in my career. I've made good money and after 36 years, I'm pretty well off. I contribute heavily to charity and volunteer my time to a local charitable organization. My wealth DID come from hard work and I do try to help the poor. **** anyone who says I don't deserve what I have.You on the other hand come off like someone consumed with envy. I'd say you've gotten nowhere in life and seem to believe that anyone who did must be a cheat. I would also say you'd give anything to be rich, but I wonder what you would do if it actually happened. For the record, have you actually done anything to try and get rich?I would highly recommend that you take the take the energy you wasting by vilifying rich people and apply it to something that will actually help you.
