My grocery store had a display of a chocolate flavored red wine.
It was called something like Choc au Vin or Vin au Choc. I couldn't decide if it was appalling or brilliant or perhaps brilliantly appalling. Then I thought maybe they should have it in the health food aisle as well.
Would you buy it, just for the experience?

1. I can't drink but it might be a good thing to put into a dessert
I have to admit that if I could drink, it sounds like something that would hang up on a tonsil and gag me.
However, if they went the dry route instead of the sweet one, I can see it as an addition to a mole.
Imagine it with a shot of Stinky's alcoholic whipped cream on top for a real taste sensation.

4. A parfait of jello shots drizzled with this wine topped with the alcohol cream.
I have seen a couple episodes of Bridezilla where I think this would be a perfect dessert at the rehearsal dinner.

This joint makes a chocolate/orange wine that sounds more like a cordial to me About 30 bucks a bottle I'm not a big fan of Orange and chocolate as a combo so I won't be trying this.

That is exactly it. You first.
I once made a filet which had chocolate as the secret ingrediant in the sauce and I think it involved red wine as well, so maybe this would be a killer cooking combo.

I've been on a tour there. I think they also make lemon meringue wine.

8. A local winery bottled a chocolate flavored port that my wife and I found very interesting. Nice desert wine, or more like a liqueur. I'd put it on par with amaretto but not so cloyingly sweet. We enjoyed it but a little goes a long way.
I dunno.
When franksolich drank, he used to prefer St-Louis Beaujolais, that bitter red wine that tastes like the blood of one's enemies.
