How do you tell someone...

that doesn't speak english that you don't want him to mow your lawn?  This guy (who is creepy by the way) came by the house a couple of days after we moved in and somehow got my husband to agree that he could mow our yard.  Then my husband thought he would mow it and called the guy and left a message that he didn't want him to mow our yard.  He shows up anyway and mowed our yard last week and then again today.  He stopped by the house yesterday and I have no idea what he wanted.  I asked if he wanted money and he said no.  I still have no idea what he wanted.  I've seen his truck drive by our house several times over the past couple of weeks, sometimes he stops out front and parks.  He makes me very uncomfortable.  I'm looking out the window right now and he is still out there.  He does a pretty good job at mowing the yard and he is pretty cheap but he is creepy.

Ask a neighbor if they know anything about this guy, or if they speak Spanish and can translate for you.

Don't let him fool you. Many Mexicans speak English, at least to a point. Tell him to leave or you'll call the Immigration Services, aka "La Immigre" . If that doesn't scare him off, call the cops.

My guess would be that he's feigning a lack of english, so he can plead ignorance to your wanting to end his mowing services.  As for the rest... it just sounds really creepy  :o  Be careful please

Dude, before I left that cesspool, there were cases where people were calling INS (ICE) TELLING THEM where there were illegals, who they were, etc., and INS couldn't be bothered to pick them up.

Too bad you don't get John and Ken (KFI-640) in Texas.  You'd be amazed how screwed up CA has become.
