I drew this cartoon in the early Bush years. It's even more apropos now. *sigh*

after which a comics-strip, if anyone wants to judge the quality of Pedro Picasso's artistic skills

There's 20 seconds of my life that I'll never get back.

I wonder if Pedro might benefit from joining Lleu at 'Can You Draw Timmy the Turtle U'...

I didn't read much of Lleu's twaddle. Did he come here wearing his University of Phoenix sweatshirt?

In Nashville, they have a couple big new office buildings, with the "university" name in lights
at the top. Lots of money in internet scams.

They go way beyond ripping off kids who think they can make money drawing pictures. They even
sell doctorates, so you can buy one and rip off other grownups.

The artwork isn't bad at all, quite passable really.  The punchline positively blows, and the whole "What do I do with the cigar I drew in panel 2 now that I'm in panel 3 and already drew the hands?" problem speaks of the rankest amateurism possible in the execution.

A coworker of mine at my previous employer received a MBA from UoP.  That girl was as dumb as a stump.  That is when I realized that there was a scam afoot.  She didn't even do a thesis.  I thought that was required for a Masters Degree.  Isn't it?

Not necessarily, it depends on the program.  All MBA programs I've ever dealt with (Not a large sample) have had one as a requirement, though.

My wife's was a "research seminar."  Then again, it was for a psychological discipline.
