Keillor is a talented egotist who is infatuated with himself and his intellect. But he utterly misses the point.

I left this comment on the site:

Title: The Aftereffects of Stroke

Mr. Keillor must still be suffering.

He gets world-class care (likely because of his world-class salary), but then has the audacity to suggest that the very system that "fixed him" needs to be fixed?

Because the have-nots exist in this world?

When the have-nots have the creativity, the drive, the ambition, and even the monumental ego (such as Mr. Keillor sports) to gin up a traveling show called "A Prairie Home Companion" which is listened to with enthusiasm by a lot of folk who enjoy his tales of Lake Woebegone, well, perhaps then they can afford the world-class care that Mr. Keillor enjoys.

Until then, there's Medicare. Or Medicaid. Or the local emergency room which, in most cases, is bound to treat those who are sick -- even the illegals who find this country a Mecca because of opportunities that this country has historically offered.

**** him, the man is too ugly to live.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”
