I'm thinking Cuba. They always claim it's a paradise, and once you get in, you can't get out.

Just like a roach motel for DUmmies....

I LOVE IT!!!   :rotf:
Murphy's 3rd Law:  "You can't make anything 'idiot DUmmie proof'.  The world will just create a better idiot DUmmie."

Liberals are like Slinkys.  Basically useless, but they do bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Global warming supporters believe that a few hundred million tons of CO2 has more control over our climate than a million mile in diameter, unshielded thermo-nuclear fusion reactor at the middle of the solar system.

You can't fix stupid, but you can vote it out of office.

I mean really, could you see us starting threads over and over the sole purpose of which is to crow about how superior we are? It would be embarrassing.

How right you are, Dandi.  We would never in a million years do that, and it would be embarassing.  It's like giving yourself a compliment.  Only creepy people do that.  "These pants make me look great, don't they?"

I did not care to row over to see the responses the OP got.  I already know what they are.  Those applauding hands icons, the backslapping, the ass kissing.  I just can't take it.

DUmmies aren't "different than" us or anything else.

They are different from nearly everything, but they're not "different than" anything.
Thank God in Heaven that DUmmies are different from us, but they aren't different than us.

It's the stupid grammatical equivalent of saying something is "very unique".

But I'm sure DUmmy greenbriar wouldn't red-pencil it if showed up in an essay by one of
her victims, er, I mean, students.

I'd rather hear someone scrape their nails across a chalkboard.

They believe that charity is meant for tax breaks, we believe charity is for those who are the most needy no matter what ammount of time or money is involved

Funny one. Every study shows that conservatives give more to charity than liberals--and poor states which are primarily conservative give more than rich liberal states. For many years running, Mississippi, the poorest state, has been the top charitable giver. Many rich liberal states are at the bottom of the list in giving.

Well liberals only like forced charity preferably paid for by other people's tax money not their own.
Conservatives on the other hand prefer to take care of our own needs then help people that we choose too.

The difference between us and them is we feel we are obligated to work and provide for ourselves. They think we are obligated to work and provide for everyone. Yet they aren't obligated to do anything but cash that govt check and bitch that they run out of pot and Cheeto money by the 9th of the month.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

True. Also, adding government into the equation is yet another back-door means of expanding its power, and the left is all about the expansion of government power, with them in control. Conservatives give from a true desire to help the deserving needy (now there's a concept which can't be uttered anymore in this PC world, the notion that some people don't deserve something), while liberals only see it as a means of giving more power to government. That's why conservatives have never needed a middleman. Which is only common sense if your true desire is to help others. More taxes is only "common sense" if your true goal is expansion of government.

Also us conservatives are for helping people in need but, we want those people to take the help and better themselves. Liberals want public assistance to be a living and a life style choice. The old saying "Give a man a fish he eats for a day. Teach him to fish and he eats for life." Isn't just a saying it holds a lot of truth. For some reason liberals think its unfair and cruel if we expect folks to fish for themselves instead of taking fish from our buckets.
