Yeah, that makes sense.  Equal rights aren't good enough, they want extra special treatment.

That's like a city claiming it has successfully reduced violent crime because they just stop taking reports when they reach 90% of last year's number, whether it's June or December.

This is completely and unquestionably illegal.

These are the same sort of idiots that think the justice system is biased because minorities make up a higher percentage of prison inmates than their percentage of the population.

If they tried that in San Antonio, the white kids could destroy the schools with no consequences.

In many ways. Local governments--school boards, etc--can screw things up worse than anyone on the federal level. And yet, very few people ever vots in those elections.

Now, now, now.  Lets not bring actual legal precedent to this issue.  We are focusing on the feelings of those poor minority students.  They feel like they get in trouble more, so we need to make sure that the white kids get in trouble just as often

Here's the thing: who will enforce the law. Parliament can write all the laws it wants with justice and equality in mind, but if the king elects one faction over another against who he wields his sword it is still tyranny.
