At this point there is not a State where the population would allow an Ordinance of Secession to be enacted. Nullification Yes, but Secession No.

Not surprised you forgot about Texas.

I hope you're not a concealed carry permit holder.

What holds for a person does not hold for a country.  Those Union soldiers occupied a position, after agreeing to leave it neutral, that threatened the ability of South Carolina to conduct trade.  Further, Lincoln was conducting a military resupply of that position.  In other words, the North goaded South Carolina for months, then screamed when they got hit.

The south fired on Fort Sumter when the North tried to resupply it. Lincoln had been warned not to resupply Fort Sumter. The south was content to wait until the Union troops had to abandon the fort due to lack of supplies. Lincoln forced the issue and started the war much like what FDR did to Japan to get us into WW2.
You cannot bring groceries or ammunition for your weapons into your house. If you do you will be fired upon and you will bear full responsibility for beginning hostilies.

I wonder if this line of argument would work if Castro decided to blockade Gitmo?

How about the Berlin airlift?

Seems to be plenty of people still screaming about getting hit back.

The south initiated aggression Lug.  It's that simple.  They attacked Federal Military installations legally ceded to the US Government, not just Fort Sumter, but a multitude of forts.  This is no differant that if any country attacked one of our embassies.  They decided that talking was off the table.

Actually the cadets one island north of Folly fired on the Star of the West that was tryig to resupply Fort Sumter in the waters not belonging to th US

They become mini-Civil Wars all on their own, don't they?

Though, I will agree with Broderbund on this.  It will be neighbor-on-neighbor.  Just for the record, Carl and I are on the same side.  I know co-workers who would be on the opposite side from me . . . Oh well!  Them's the breaks!

I like 'em too.  Somebody is always willing to argue on them.  It's some of the most fun I have on the internet.
