MO the Fashion FAIL.

I know what she is trying to do. She wants to channel Jackie O, but she comes across as a Walmart wannabe.
Is this the best her staff of 20+ clucking hens can come up with?

Her every outfit is progressively worse and her "Jackie O on the Shortbus" look is not catching on.
Is America running to imitate the trends of the first lady? NO.
Are women's fashions showing up with belts worn under the bosom? NO.
Have the gals at CC decided that politics be darned, they love the new first lady look? NO.

Its time to come out and say it.
Michelle, your outfits are worse than unattractive. They make you look like a cheap poser not a first lady. Even the poorest Walmart shoppers look better than you. Your choice of outfits have NO class. When you sit next to first ladies from other nations you are always the worst dressed.



People have been polite until now, but face it folks...this is pathetic.

When Sarah Palin appeared on the national scene, sales of her style of glasses and her red shoes went through the roof. I'm not expecting the 'two belt and lampshade' look to take off in a similar way.

That skirt would maybe look alright on a model no bigger than a twiq.....but it is reaaaallllllly ugly.

I've noticed lately that most of her clothes look too small for her. Either she is gaining weight...if not...the way her clothes fit her...it looks like it. Or whoever is "dressing" her ...doesn't know what they are doing.

She's a swing and a miss when it comes to fashion. It only takes one small element to ruin a look. She seems to excel at destroying anything redeeming about her ensembles.

Comparing her to a Wal-mart shopper is almost an insult to Wal-mart shoppers everywhere. She looks like she got her clothes from a thrift store.

What I think is so sad is that there is no reason for her to have so many fashion issues.  As far as I can tell, she seems to have a nice hourglass type figure, with a very nice waist.  If she were really dressing to flatter her figure, she would look lovely, but instead she seems to waffle between trying to be over conservative (I'm not a fan of cardigans on her) and cutting edge with unique skirt shapes and patterns.  I personally think that if she stuck to more tailored outfits, and outfits that were cut closer to her hips while still emphasizing her waist, she would look so much better, and she might really be able to pull off the claim of a modern Jackie-O.

You might think a posthumous Medal of Honor award ceremony would be a somber occasion, but not everyone would agree with you. Either this is an especially skillful photo shop effort or Michelle Obama has no clue whatsoever about the nature of this event. U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Jared C. Monti’s parents received the award for him. I hope they didn’t notice the first lady’s stunningly inappropriate dress, but that’s unlikely.
