Put it this way, I went to the local clinic, they looked at it and said.......pass, go to the hospital.

I nicked the shin bone, and diden't leave much skin to sew it back up. My wife thought it was interesting to see the bone and the muscle exposed. (she was in the ER while they laced it back up)

I had my head split open with an ebonite baton once. Some stupid security guard at a bar decided I was the troublemaker, instead of the real one and bashed me over the head. Bone was exposed. Funny thing, I went down on one knee, got right back up and proceeded to kick some ass. That bouncer turned white as a sheet when I got right back up. Anyways, I went to sick bay and didn't even get stitches.
