Don't get too used to the idea.

Dude, not all black people are sitting at home getting fat on government cheese and waiting for their monthly checks to arrive in the mail.

Seriously people, this is NOT the way to bring people to our side.

Not at all, however, you do have to admit that a large percentage of African-Americans lean left because of government largesse and the (false) premise the left puts forth at "helping" minorities and poor, rather than admitting that they are simply made into a permanent underclass dependent, rightly or wrongly, upon the Democrats.

Also, consider this:

LINK

Quote
"We asked that question on a separate survey in august: 53% of african Americans said news orgs were being too critical of obama compared with 17% of whites. It's reasonable to infer that at least some of the rise in negative attitudes among African Americans since 07 is related to the belief that obama has not been treated fairly. This seems to be the case among democrats generally."

So, perhaps to oversimplify, it would not be unreasonable to say that his support among ALL groups who voted for him has slipped due to Obama's inability to effect the quick change which he ran on in the campaign.
