I think this threat to prosecute these two is just another intimidation technique, but if they ever happen to be convicted, it will be overturned on appeal. This is just another example of Obot fascism.

IMHO is a grand jury no bills this or an appeals court overturns the verdict...I have no reservations in believing that the Feds led by Eric Holder will swoop in and prosecute this under Federal hate crimes statutes.

Restrictions on wiretapping apply to governmental agencies (law enforcement, tax enforcement, whatnot), but not necessarily to private individuals who have no power--other than exposing--of enforcement of laws and regulations?

Wiretapping laws can pertain to anyone depending on how they are worded.  Some states allow for recording of conversations as long as one of the involved parties knows about the recording being done.  That was the law in Baltimore that was in effect when Linda Tripp recorded the details about Clinton in her conversation with Monica. I think.  I know Illinois use to allow one party of a conversation to legally record it.

It seems to me that this administration again is going to "bend" the rules to fit their agenda's
