Yes, but some builders went bankrupt and walked away, the larger builders, including Lennar and GL Homes are relocating people while they re-do their homes.
I know families who walked away without anything. They have $600-$700K homes now on the market for $200K and not selling. They must disclose the "chinese drywall" ...therefore; no one is biting. I feel bad for those families.
I remember the price of drywall going up and it being hard to get even here in Illinois, but the prices have came down on it. I'd think that it would be worth buying the homes to redo them and resell them.
