When people want to 'stomp the shit out of someone' for what's printed on the back of their vehicle. See DUmmies may have short memories, but some of us can relate and apply history, even if it did not directly affect us. What we know is commies liked to kick the shit(in a lot of ways) out of their dissenters. Commies also 'leveled the playing field' to the point everyone except the most elite were miserable and even the elite still were controlled by their government. When you throw about terms and exemplify attitudes of a reprehensible system like communism, don't be surprised if someone is going to call you exactly what you are.
And your grandfather is what is wrong with unionism. Perhaps you are smart enough to reflect on it, but I doubt it. He sounded like a confrontational thug and feeds into the stereotype of union members in general. Good job, you can't seek to change stereotypes by feeding into them constantly(and that goes for many of the pet groups on the left).
********as a side note, I can remember, being a teenager at the time, people waiting in long ass lines, sometimes for nothing, just to get bread and milk in the communist soviet union. How soon we forgot or never seek to apply the lessons of those times. I remember how victorious it was when the 'wall' came down. Even more so for me as I was born in what was the old 'west' Germany. IMO though this type of thing really reflects poorly on the public school system in general and those localities that raise these idiots in particular. I bet the OP doesn't like being called a dumb hick, but that post showed he's little more then that with a dose of union thuggery thrown in to boot.
